Great city for families. Lots of activities for the kids, we did the incline and a baseball game. But there is also a zoo, museums, and an amusement park close by. The big park with the carousel and fountain is fun, there’s also a pedestrian bridge where live street performers will set up and you can walk across the bridge from one side of the river to the other. There is a lot of history here. Wish we had more time to go to Ruby Falls. Lots of restaurant options.

Really enjoyed Rock City, will visit again.
Really enjoyed Rock City, will visit again. Dining options are very average. Interstate traffic was fairly busy and can be confusing. One or two days is plenty of time to see everything. Downtown parking is limited and you have to pay.

I booked a four-night stay from April 11th to 15th through booking, and then extended it to one night. I kept booking and it was stated that the original stay was for one night, so the total would be five nights. As a result, your hotel paid me more money. Why can I be charged repeatedly for one night? I hope this charge will be refunded.

We were there 3 days and loved it.
We were there 3 days and loved it. We went on the Thursday - Saturday of spring break. We had to pre-purchase all our events because it was busy. Our favorite thing was renting electric scooters & touring downtown. We also went to the incline railway, an escape room on a train car, rode an actual train & visited Naughty Cat Cafe. There you can enjoy a coffee while you pet cats up for adoption. Plenty of great places to eat, although we stuck to the chain restaurants. We didn't have enough time in our trip to see all the great attractions available. The only downside was traffic. I-24 & I-75 were busy, but anyone from Atlanta will not see it as a problem.

We were there for a meeting, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the National Medal of Honor Museum and highly recommend it to everyone! Pucketts is on the opposite side of the same building so once you are finished with your Museum tour, you can grab a bite to eat. You will not leave hungry!
Also, a super fun adventure for the family is the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum! We love trains and it is a sure WIN with any Thomas the Tank engine lovers!! Look on their website for special events and days when the trains are 'running'. Just TERRIFIC!
Awesome loft apartment in a historic building in downtown Chattanooga. Unit (2-bedroom) is nicely decorated and is very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals, including a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Morning coffee in the lobby was greatly appreciated. There is no onsite parking, but the garage is 1/2 block away and you can pay at the hotel for the duration of your stay.
We absolutely loved the Read House! The staff were fabulous, the room was sumptuous and silent (we opted to upgrade), the bartender superb, and we loved the location. We'd never been to Chattanooga and intended to only stay a single night, but the Read House was so fantastic, we opted to stay an extra night. It was also great value given the level of luxury, space, and service.
.Decor around hotel was nice, evening front desk staff were great. It was handy having the laundry facilities. Location worked out good but we had a car so it was easy to go downtown. Sat outside one night around a gas fire pit. Bean bag game outside also. Fresh coffee available downstairs anytime. Room was comfortable, with fridge but no closet to hang anything.
Walking into this hotel is like walking back into an idealized vision of the past. The staff is completely professional and very friendly. Their facilities and location and wonderful. They were responsive to the needs of a family traveling with small children. This is most likely the best hotel property in Chattanooga.
It’s close to downtown Chattanooga, and the Breakfast was fresh and really good. The breakfast was probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. They had variety of yogurts, pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, Biscuits w/ Sausage Gravy, Apple Juice, Orange Juice and also cereals. Everything was fresh.
Front desk staff was very friendly, welcoming, and gracious to our large group at check in and out. The kids were ecstatic that the hotel had a basketball for them to shoot some hoops (near the pool) for a few hours as a destressor before heading to a regional swim meet downtown Chattanooga that night.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, bedroom was the great value. Extremely safe location can't wait to come back. Staying up at Lookout Mountain was my best decision for a hotel stay in Chattanooga.. the below picture is the view from my hotel room
Personal is very friendly helpful. They honestly look that they want to give a good customer service. Hotel is located close to a good selection of restaurants and fast food and is also close to almost all the Chattanooga attraction.
Really good location, close to downtown. Staff were really nice with everything I needed or needed help. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Overall very satisfied with my stay.
We love everything about this hotel. The price is reasonable. The location is convenient. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. This is the only place we stay in Chattanooga.
The location was downtown Chattanooga. We were able to walk everywhere. The hotel was near all events and restaurants. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable.
The Property was only 15 minutes from everything. It was right on the outskirts of Chattanooga so it wasn’t every busy around the hotel which was really nice.
It was adequate. I am Gluten Intolerant and could eat eggs, meat, fruit. It’s unusual to find GF bread products in a hotel breakfast and I saw no GF bread
